Microneedling

The Raffine is a medical-grade micro-needling pen used to reshape your skin through a series of minute punctures. This causes controlled wound healing and leaves the skin smoother, clearer and firmer.

It can be used on the skin of any part of the body – popular treatment areas include the face and neck, décolletage, arms and hands, knees, abdomen and back. Microneedling improves texture, and reduces fine lines and scarring by stimulating collagen production.

The Raffine is a medical-grade micro-needling pen used to reshape your skin through a series of minute punctures. It can be used on the skin of any part of the body – popular treatment areas include the face and neck, décolletage, arms and hands, knees, abdomen and back.

Micro-needling works by using a series of needles to create tiny micro-tears in the skin to stimulate the production of elastin and collagen. As the skin repairs itself, it creates a thicker plumper and smoother skin.

The Raffine can also help make the skin more receptive to the absorption of creams, serums and gels – improving the efficacy of these products. It can also help manage pigmentation issues, as well as improving the appearance of scars and stretch marks.

Microneedling is an effective treatment for the following concerns;

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scarring
  • Facial scarring
  • Enlarged pores
  • Sagging skin
  • Stretch marks
  • Pigmentation

  •  You should use prescribed home care applied twice daily including SPF50 daily. This will ensure your skin heals quickly and is kept hydrated post treatment.
  • Avoid sweating, exercising, hot baths or showers, scrubbing, picking or rubbing the skin.

For some, a single treatment once a year is enough for the results you’re after, while those with deep wrinkles or challenging skin conditions will need multiple sessions at roughly 6-8 week intervals.
