Crows Feet

Crows Feet & Eye Wrinkles

Crow’s feet are wrinkles etched in the corner of the eye and are often one of the first visible signs of ageing in the face. You may be familiar with knowing them as laughter lines or character lines, as they are usually only apparent when showing facial expressions such as laughing or smiling.

As you get older, the skin on your face tends to weaken and become a lot thinner which makes it prone to creasing. Ironically, laughter is known to be the best medicine, however, in this case, it can add years to your appearance by the prominent lines and wrinkles it creates around your eyes.

Unlike wrinkles or expression lines on other areas of the face, crow’s feet can appear to look deeper or more pronounced on the skin.

Unfortunately, this is a natural occurrence as we all age, and although it is perfectly fine to embrace them, we offer non-surgical options to reduce the visibility of these lines to help you feel more confident with your skin.

What causes Crow’s feet or laughter lines?

As we get older our skin begins to lose elasticity, our muscles become tired and weak making it unable to regenerate itself naturally. Some of the leading causes of crow’s feet include:

  • Facial expressions
  • UV exposure
  • Loss of collagen
  • Loss of elasticity that comes with age
  • Unhealthy diet
