Em Face

All About EMFace by BTL

EMFace by BTL is a revolutionary, non-invasive facial treatment designed to rejuvenate and lift the face without the need for surgery or injections. Utilising a combination of synchronised radiofrequency (RF) and high-intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation (HIFES™) technology, EMFace offers a unique approach to facial aesthetics.

How Does EMFace Work?

EMFace works by simultaneously delivering RF energy and HIFES™ to the skin and muscles of the face. The RF energy heats the dermis, promoting collagen and elastin production, which tightens and smooths the skin. At the same time, HIFES™ technology stimulates the underlying muscles, enhancing muscle tone and lifting facial contours.

Benefits of EMFace

– Non-invasive and needle-free
– Stimulates collagen and elastin production
– Enhances facial muscle tone and lift
– Quick treatment sessions with no downtime
– Suitable for all skin types

Each EMFace treatment session typically lasts about 20 minutes. Patients may experience a warming sensation from the RF energy and muscle contractions from the HIFES™ technology. The procedure is generally well-tolerated and requires no anesthesia. Most patients can return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment.

Visible improvements can often be seen after the first session, with optimal results developing over a few weeks as collagen and elastin production increases. For best results, a series of treatments is typically recommended. Maintenance sessions may be scheduled as needed to sustain the youthful appearance.

If you are looking for a non-invasive way to enhance your facial appearance, reduce wrinkles, and achieve a lifted, youthful look, EMFace by BTL might be the perfect solution for you. Most people carry on their day as normal after treatment. It’s best to take it easy, avoiding strenuous exercise, extreme heat (like a sauna), alcohol, or any other facial treatments for 24 hours. But after that, you can return to your usual routine.

We also suggest keeping your facial muscles active after the procedure to help the treatment take effect. You should also avoid any unnecessary touching of your face for 24-hours.

In advance of any injectable procedure, you’ll receive a thorough consultation with an experienced medical practitioner, who will advise you on all precautions and aftercare requirements.

You should avoid anti-wrinkle treatment if any of the following are relevant:

  • The injection site is infected
  • You are allergic to any of the ingredients
  • You have known bleeding disorders
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have a neuromuscular disorder (e.g. myasthenia gravis)

Our clinicians can advise you on alternatives if required and will talk you through these risks as well as any other concerns you may have.

Anti-wrinkle treatments can cost anything between £199-£500 depending on the area you are looking to treat. We offer complimentary consultations in advance of all procedures, where you can discuss any concerns you have and create a treatment plan.
