DD Clinical offers the award winning medical graded laser machine which can be used to successfully diminish unwanted dark and multi-coloured tattoos. The Harmony Pro XL is safe, effective and uses a combination of laser wavelengths that target different ink colours. The high-intensity light beams break up the ink particles in the tattoo, revealing clear, ink-free skin which is then naturally removed via the bodies lymphatic system.

Every colour of ink requires a different wavelength of light and amount of energy to be efficiently removed.
ClearLift is a high-powered Q-switched laser that can operate 2 different wavelengths to be effective with darker colours, and brighter colours like red and orange.
The treatment breaks down the ink particles without causing damage to the skin. This is achieved by a Photo-Acoustic effect created by the impact of the laser energy delivered with very short pulses to the targeted ink. Over time, your body’s natural healing processes (the lymphatic system) removes the ink fragments from your body. This allows your tattoo to fade with only minimal risks of scarring or skin discolouration.
The amount of sessions needed very dependant on the size, age and type of ink used, however we usually recommend a minimum of 8 sessions 8 weeks apart.
Treatment prices vary depending on the size of the tattoo, however prices start from £45.
Additional savings can be made when purchasing a course of treatment.
There will be redness and swelling and a white frosting over the tattoo straight after treatment. This is perfectly normal and indicates the treatment has picked up the ink. The area may then scab over and could take up to 2weeks to fully heal.
