FemiLift

Childbirth, menopause and natural hormonal changes all have an impact on the health and anatomy of your vagina. It’s not an easy thing to talk about, and many women go for years without seeking treatment, if at all. But just like other muscles in your body, the vaginal walls can be restored, and you can regain your comfort and confidence, no matter what age you are.

Femilift is a long-lasting non-surgical solution that helps tighten and tone the vaginal walls. It’s a simple laser treatment that helps to relieve conditions like stress urinary incontinence, pain during intercourse, and reoccurring infections. Book an appointment at DD Clinical for a discreet, complimentary consultation to discuss any intimate health concerns you have, and to find out if Femilift is right for you.

FemiLift is a minimally invasive laser treatment that helps tone and tighten the muscles of the vagina. It uses fractional CO2 laser energy pulses to create a deep thermal effect, which stimulates collagen renewal and the contraction of elastic fibres, as well as encouraging blood flow to the surrounding tissues. The long-lasting result is a complete vaginal rejuvenation and a reduction in often uncomfortable and embarrassing symptoms.

When administered by a trained Gynaecologist, Femilift is a safe, non-surgical solution for a wide range of feminine health concerns, including:

Vaginal Laxity

Childbirth and reduced oestrogen in menopause can cause vaginal laxity. Over three treatment sessions, four weeks apart, a Femilift vaginal rejuvenation treatment will combat this issue by tightening the vaginal canal.

Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI)

SUI is a condition where urine unexpectedly leaks when your bladder is under pressure. Millions of women are affected by this hidden problem, which can occur during sport or when you cough or sneeze. Femilift treatments help to strengthen and tighten the vaginal tissues to improve incontinence issues.

Recurrent Vaginal Infections

As oestrogen levels decrease during menopause, vaginal atrophy can occur. This condition is where the tissues in the vagina lose strength and structure, which causes several issues, including recurring vaginal infections. A Femilift treatment restores the strength and elasticity within the vagina to reduce the chance of infection.

Vaginal Dryness

A decrease in oestrogen can also cause dryness, irritation, and a burning sensation in the vagina. Femilift treatments encourage increased blood flow to the vaginal tissues, which helps improve the hydration of the area.

The first step is to have a complimentary consultation to talk through the procedure and any concerns you may have. Our experienced clinicians will take a full medical history and answer all your questions to help you decide whether Femilift is right for you.

The treatment itself

During the procedure, a single-use, hygienic probe is inserted into the vagina and rotated in a 360-degree pattern, which allows the lasers to cover the entire vaginal wall. While you may feel a slight tingling sensation from the lasers, there is minimal pain throughout, and you won’t require an anaesthetic.

Each appointment takes just thirty minutes, and you’ll usually require three treatments about four weeks apart to achieve the full effect. Once a year after the initial three sessions, we’ll invite you back for a maintenance treatment.

Femilift is a safe, non-surgical solution for common feminine issues that are uncomfortable and can affect your confidence. The treatment is quick, pain-free, and fast healing so you can return to your usual routine within days.

While many women experience no side effects at all, there are a few possible reactions following a Femilift treatment. For instance, it’s normal for the vagina to feel especially tight – this is part of the goal – but you’ll quickly get used to the new sensation. Some people also experience itching, redness, swelling, or discomfort, which will usually pass within a few days.

We’ll discuss all the potential side effects in advance of the treatment at your complimentary face-to-face consultation.

One of the best things about Femilift is that it requires very little aftercare, and the downtime is minimal.

The first 48-72 hours are when the early thermal effect is taking place, so you need to be a little more careful. We recommend no strenuous exercise for three days, and you must abstain from sexual intercourse for around five days. Apart from that, you can return to your daily routine immediately after your treatment.

Internally, the full healing process takes about 40 days, which is why we schedule your three appointments four weeks apart. Usually, you’ll then require an additional maintenance session after one year.

Femilift treatments must be performed by an experienced Gynaecologist. At DD Clinical, all our medical practitioners receive ongoing training in the latest technology and methodology to ensure you are in safe hands during the treatment.

We understand attending an appointment for intimate conditions can be tough. It’s normal for you to have concerns about changes in your vaginal anatomy, and to find it difficult to talk about it. Our clinicians have the experience and discretion to help you feel comfortable discussing your body, so you can create a treatment plan that’s right for you.

Femilift costs anything between £399-£2500 depending on the condition you are looking to treat.

We offer a discreet complimentary consultation in advance of every Femilift procedure, where you can discuss any concerns and create a treatment plan.
